Ds had a little wait for arts ed. we received our letter on a Friday and all his friends said the same. One of his friends has a dance recall only so maybe they are just waiting for them all to audition before deciding .i wouldn't mind betting that your letter arrives tomorrow. The waiting is horrible x

Thanks Oscar, fingers crossed for tomorrow then. When was his friend's dance recall? My DS had his original audition in November and just a recall for singing (his weakest discipline) on the 10th March so it has been a long drawn out process! Well done to your DS for his place.

Really happy for dd today, she has just heard she has been offered a place at Bodyworks for the diploma course in September \:D/ . Yesterday she was on a downer as she unfortunately didn't get anything from Birds, But with offers from MADD, Stella Mann and a recall in Musical Theatre at LSC I'm over the moon for her. Needless to say we still have 3 or 4 more auditions still to go, stressful times !! #-o

Michellem68, well done to your dd. We know of several people who have been to bodyworks who have been very successful in the West End so no doubt your dd will enjoy it :D :D :D

Ajbew checked with ds and his friend has dance recall in a couple of weeks. Hope that doesn't mean you are waiting ages. Fingers crossed .

Thanks for checking Oscar. Unfortunately he has received a no today so at least the waiting is over. It is his first rejection so I feel really sad for him, especially as Arts Ed was his favourite. He has confirmed places at Bird and LSC, and still has the Urdang decision to go after the degree recall, plus a Laine funding audition and a Mountview recall so it will be a while before he will know for sure.

Well done to your DD Michellem68 :D

He's done exceptionally well. Well done to him.The whole audition process is so subjective. Goodness knows what they are looking for. Ds also has a mountview recall . It's a it odd making them wait so long.

Yes, it is the longest wait. His first audition was in November! What did you DS think of Mountview? Mine is strongest in dance so he is not sure that it is the place for him. He goes to Mountview on 2nd of May and 3rd if he isn't cut. Are those the same dates for your DS?

Yep the same . He quite liked it . He says their graduates often get work but it is notoriously difficult to get in to.

My DD has come to the end of her auditions and her penultimate was at Cambridge Bodyworks.
Half way through the audition morning session she rang to tell me the principal would like to see me ASAP
( I was on the top of a tourist bus at the time !! )

On meeting the principal my DD was offered Foundation with scholarship assistance on the spot.......speechless !!
Needless to say my DD will be accepting after loving the whole audition.
Feeling blessed !
