Half way through the audition morning session she rang to tell me the principal would like to see me ASAP
( I was on the top of a tourist bus at the time !! )

On meeting the principal my DD was offered Foundation with scholarship assistance on the spot.......speechless !!
Needless to say my DD will be accepting after loving the whole audition.
Feeling blessed !
brilliant news,...my dd is in the first year of the 3 year diploma at Bodyworks.she loves it so so much! It is hard work, but she is thriving there.
She likes the fact that the classes are small, and she is being pushed..

Your DD will love the family feel there...congratulations to her =D>

Thank you all for your kind comments and really hope you all get to feel the relief we are feeling right now !
What a roller coaster !!

Great to hear the positivity for Cambridge.
They are the only college who commented on my DD's hypermobility and the need for it to be monitored until she matures physically.
I also had the reassurance that at 16 my DD will be well and truly looked after but allowed to develop her independence with guidance.......what more could an anxious mum ask for ?

The staff and current students were what tipped the scales both on the open day and audition day.....what a fabulous feel the place has !
My DD is very excited to start a new chapter in Cambridge.

Well done dancediva to you and your dd - also to everyone else with offers coming in :D This was us last year and can remember too well how stressful it was - hard to believe we only have a week left and will then be in the last term of first year  where has that time gone? Looking forward to seeing where everybody ends up this year! xx

DD auditioned at The Centre yesterday; she was amazed at the standard of both the teaching and the facilities

Really, really impressed

Two of my dd's friends went to The Centre one still being there and absolutely love it. They say the standard of teaching is
really high they have some of the same teachers as Bird apparantly. They don't do DaDa there do they but they both got one of the scholarships that they offer.

How many auditions has your DD got left to do?

My DD has been offered on place at London College of Music on the BA for MT, She was there on Saturday and loved the ethos of the college. Im very surprised as she is very much a dancer, and there is very little dance there!

Well done to all on their offers.

Its such a stressful time, we are off to Performers tomorrow
