It's been in the pipeline a long time. My son went up for this in 2008!

My DS has been asked to go an audition via his drama teacher. Is anyone able to tell me what the audition involves for this one, not been given any details yet teacher just asked if we are interseted.

thanks for the info, not sure what to do now, DS is slightly dyslexic and while he can memorise anything very quickly reading from text he is v slow. He is not auditioning until after Easter Holidays which at least gives me a week so we can really practice his sight reading.

Sorry, forgot to say it was 'off script' so your DS should be fine. It wasn't much they had to learn.

Suffolkmummy-I think they are going to be continuing with casting an awful lot of the easter break.

We had a CD in school last week and they are def seeing people all through Easter. Lots of very blond boys on the list at our school.

Just a normal school, not a drama specialist school. The CDs go round loads of schools apparently.

My ds was seen for this yesterday - and we were given a sheet before the audition saying that if we hadn't heard by the end of April then we were to assume it was a NO. In their words ''no news is BAD news'' by the end of April. So I guess they must be close to casting this one. My ds was significantly smaller than the others waiting so we are not hopeful but we combined it with a great day out in London so everyone happy! \:D/
