Dd is auditioning at masters in May. We went to the open day earlier this year and she too really liked the college. I believe others from dd's college were auditioning there today.

Masters offer scholarships rather than Dada's so your dd might be lucky Katymac, fingers crossed!

Thanks Welshmum, he doesn't seem too bad today. He is limping and will need a few days off from dancing, but hopefully he will be okay for Mountview next weekend.

Good luck to DD for tomorrow Pearl, and let's hope they don't keep us waiting too long for the results.

My ds had his laines audition today and only 7 boys turned up.
Someone told him there were 14 boys there yesterday.

Thanks guys. After lots of pineapple juice, honey and salt/water voice was ok today not 100% but pretty good.

Had a strange one though, after dd had sung ( which she said went well) Betty Laine asked her to take her hair down and asked her to sing Somewhere over the rainbow!! She was then talking to her about the work she had done as a child!

I'm hoping this was because she liked her! but who can second guess any of these auditions
Bring it on!!!

Does anyone know roughly how many dadas Laine offer and whether they give equal amount to girls and boys?

Hi Pearl,

Glad your DD had good audition, there was a girl there on Wednesday that came out saying she had to take her hair down and sing another song, but I don't know more as I was trying to listen to what she was saying but my hubby was talking to me at the same time typical lol

I rang laine before recalls and they stated that they had already given a few dadas out before the funding auditions.

Laine also stated that they took 18 boys last year and funded them all.
