Going to start another thread devoted to parental and student chat related to Guy Chester House Students if that's ok, so that doesn't get confused with LSC accommodation ?

If anyone's DC going to LSC and looking for accommodation then there is a room going in the house where my DD is going to live! Quiet residential street about 5-10 min walk to Artsdepot! Dm me for details

Not a question related to accommodation but, having 6 offers is a massive achievement, so well done for that =D> =D> , but how does that compare to last year when she got her pre-voc place? Did she also get a lot of offers and how has she improved on the pre-voc? I am thinking that a pre-voc would be the right path for my DD but it's very expensive, so do you and your DD think it was a good investment, rather than going directly onto a BTEC or degree? Fingers crossed for the funding!!

I think the prevoc was an amazing course & it brought DD up to the standard needed - but it was expensive & we couldn't have afforded to pay

Hi. Apologies for asking this on the LSC accomodation feed but like jennifer1972 I too am interested in details regarding the pre-voc at performers. My DD is on the reserve list for funding at performers and reserve list at LSC. If nothing comes from these she is registered on the pre-voc at performers and I was wondering if you think this is a good option. I understand your DD has 6 offers following the pre-voc which ia fantastic. If you don't mind me asking has she secured any funding for any of these offers and if so would you say it was attributed to the training on the pre-voc? Very personal question so totally understand if you don't share but thought I would ask any way. Many thanks

Hi all
I am new to this and in need of do help and advice.

On 28th August my DD was offered a place at LSC on the degree course, which she is very excited about as it was the only audition she did this year (finally attempt).

So we are now in a panic for accommodation, she would very much prefer to be in a flat share with other girls from lsc. Would anyone know anyone looking for someone else to share with?

Thank you

Thank you for your advice.

She has now joined that group on FB and is hoping we can find something in time.

Fingers crossed.
