DD has her first ever casting tomorrow - any hints?

She is quite excited - but is worried about what to wear/say etc

I said just smart casual and chill - but apparently I'm not helping much

Any suggestions?

I'd say smart casual (and comfortable) and chill If she's anything like mine, the advice might carry more weight from anyone other than her mum! The only other advice that I ever dare to give (or feel qualified to) is a reminder to take a breath to think before answering questions and not rush if they're reading lines.

How exciting for her! She should wear something she is comfortable and confident in, but in keeping with the character brief. The most important thing is to LISTEN so she can give them what they are looking for! Crossing everything for her ... let us know how she gets on

She's gone off OK, bit of a hair disaster (she straightened it & cut it when it was straight) but comfortable and smart

A bit stressy and ditsy but hopefully OK

She has been shortlised.....which I guess means precisely nothing

Its better than not being shortlisted but of course you have no idea how many other people they might have shortlisted too ... fingers crossed it goes her way

She was approached by a casting agent for a job today (which she can't do because she is uncontactable at a festival) but the clothing suggestion was 'not TOWIE'

Good job she can't go as I don't have a clue what that is
