Anyone who's had an audition how long did it take to hear an email back asking to come along? DD hasn't heard anything and is anxious

wondering the same; I emailed nearly immediately as the casting call was posted, so I'm wondering if she is going through agencies and auditioning girls from there first before addressing all of the ones from screenterrier, kccp etc. ?

It is a really good idea to get into the mindset of forgetting about a casting as soon as it is done. Or forgetting about a submission as soon as you have made it. That way, if something comes your way, then it is a bonus. So much better than waiting around and wondering.... I know this is easier said than done, but it is the best way to survive!

For all the people who did manage to get a reply, what do your DDs look like? Just wondering if the casting directors are looking for something in particular.

My dd submitted straight away after the casting call-no agent and heard back immediately! Couldnt make the audition so has been asked to self tape. She has blonde hair/blue eyes and is slim? So not sure if they r looking for a 'type'! Good luck everyone xx

Sorry if this is an obvious questions but what did you send to the email, I don't know whether to attach a CV or not as it just said contact details. Obviously you attach a recent photo XD

My dd is a small, slim redhead - bet they will be seeing all looks and ethnicities though

Lucy Bevan is one of the nicest casting directors on the circuit and very thorough in what she does. She will call you if you fit the brief and not otherwise. Given the project this will probably be a huge call and lots of people will be seen with several rounds of recalls. If you don't hear back don't chase the casting team they wont want to waste peoples time if you are not right for the role. Although some time ago since Lucy cast my son in a film she is one of the CD's I have a lot of respect for this advice comes from experience.

Anyone have an audition today? How did it go? Did anyone get a vibe of what they are looking for?

Agree fire and forget if you can. I am assuming it's a no for DD but she is at the KM casting so always worth a go :D

I really don't know, but I imagine it would be a bit early, if the auditions were only just held on Thursday. Perhaps there would be some news later on in the week?
