Hi 2girlsmum
On the online Urdang application you can tick what courses you wish to be considered for. It does have an option for Degree only so I think you apply via UCAS and Urdang. (We have ticked that we wish dd to be considered for all courses) This includes the foundation, diploma and degree. (I think Bird works the same way - direct to college and through UCAS). Hope this helps. xxx

For those who have applied to Bird and got a date, how long did they take to get back to you and was it by post or email? Thanks :D

Can anyone tell me after a UCAS application is submitted (GSA, CSSD and Bird) do you then get to choose your dates or are you allocated one in the hope that you don't have a clash? Thank you.

Hi, GSA gave me a choice of three, bird had no choice but they do all their audition in one day, GSA is just singing first round for an hour. :D

I sent Bird an email, as there was a date we really wanted and they said to put a little note on the top of the form and they would do their best to give us that date, which they did. :D

Thanks for the tip, that's good to know. We have 5 dates confirmed with just the 4 UCAS schools to book in.

Ds is auditing for BOV LAMDA and RADA this month all the same week. Have heard that BOV tell you quickly if you have a recall but the other 2 take there time

Quick question to anyone who has done this before DD wants to know do you perform your monologue in your own voice or for instance in an American accent if thats where it is set?

Christina32, in all the information we've received so far for auditions, monologues are to be performed in your own accent. I'd therefore say "own accent" unless specified otherwise.
