Has anyone heard from Trinity yet? Does anyone know when they are likely to send out results?

My Daughter was there a week ago today (23rd) and hasn't heard anything yet.coolcatsmomma wrote:My daughter was there on 26th and they said two weeks - don’t know if that’s a stock answer - we haven’t heard anything yet.lynne wrote:Hi

DD auditioned at Trinity on the 12th and has heard nothing. As this is much longer than the 2 weeks they said, she feels this is sadly but likely a no. A friend who auditioned on the same day as her hasn’t heard anything either. Would have been good to know either way by this weekend.Nickinoo wrote:My Daughter was there a week ago today (23rd) and hasn't heard anything yet.coolcatsmomma wrote:My daughter was there on 26th and they said two weeks - don’t know if that’s a stock answer - we haven’t heard anything yet.lynne wrote:Hi

I think DD went to the last of the ‘on-time’ auditions (26th) so it might be they were waiting to complete them and then get back to everyone so don’t give up hope yet. Thankyou xx May I ask was yours an early or late audition?Avril wrote:Just to offer a little reassurance for anyone waiting for Trinity Laban - they took AGES last year. Again, they said 2 weeks but that ended up being closer to 4 or 5 from memory and, yes, my DD and a number of her friends were offered a place after the long wait. Be patient and don't be downhearted..... really difficult I know! Best of luck to everyone auditioning and hugs and support to all families and supporters waiting. xx
Thankyou x did she take the place?Avril wrote:Hi
It was this time last year so the February run of auditions. DD was on a foundation so kept all her auditions reasonably late. x
Thankyou x Lucky girl x We are like 100s of other girls praying for Trinity xxxAvril wrote:Hi
Sorry, don't know how to include your question within my reply - been a member here for years but very rarely post.
No, she didn't end up at Trinity. She was delighted to be offered a place and initially accepted but was then fortunate enough to be offered Mountview, where she did her foundation and, being so happy there, that's where she opted to continue on to degree. A number of her friends are at Trinity Laban though and loving it. xx
Hi, Can you tell me where in Birmingham your DS did his Foundation? It may be an option we have to explore. ThanksLive_thedream wrote:I think there is nothing wrong to aim high, we did the same here. DS went through the process first time last year and applied at Mountview, GSA, Arts Ed and Chichester. Other than a recall at MV didn't get anywhere. But this year has gone again for top schools although Central instead of Chichester.coolcatsmomma wrote:She’s going for ArtsEd. GSA and PPA. So aiming high.
I’m beginnng to think she might end up reapplying next year - but she hasn’t applied for any one year courses. If she doesn’t get offered a foundation at any of the others are there any good one year courses about?
Thanks and good luck to everyone who’s auditioning / waiting. I am in awe of these DCs. Can’t believe how well my DD has responded - lesson for me there I think as I’m still feeling quite sad.
DS ended up doing a foundation locally (Birmingham) last year which cost at least half of the price that would be in London. They had a good success rate of students getting into top colleges and so far this year one student has already a place at Arts Ed. The training was intense and DS now sees how he needed the extra year to improve and build confidence. He has felt more prepared this year.
So if DD doesn't get in or does a foundation it is worth finding out if there is a local college that also runs a foundation course x
