Hi GDADSTAXI. He did it at Sote http://www.sote.co.uk - They are v good. They don't have a high intake and so far students have had offers/recalls. They help prepare for the audition process as well as train in all disciplines.GDADSTAXI wrote:
Hi, Can you tell me where in Birmingham your DS did his Foundation? It may be an option we have to explore. Thanks

DS in the middle of a month's break from auditioning and I am enjoying the break from stress!
Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018
Hi Live_thedream, thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware of them but having looked at their web site I know where they are now. About an hour's drive from us but very do-able if necessary.Live_thedream wrote:Hi GDADSTAXI. He did it at Sote http://www.sote.co.uk - They are v good. Enjoy it! My DS has GSA recall on Saturday and is waiting for Urdang outcome so no rest yet. After GSA he has a good month off apart from results that is.Live_thedream wrote:DS in the middle of a month's break from auditioning and I am enjoying the break from stress!

If you dont mind me asking scarytimes, did your DS have the AAB grades that GSA ask for? It put my DS off applying (he got CCD so miles off) but he’s now thinking he might give it a go as they are still open - Thank you

DS doesn't have the grades but still going for it but yes would be good to know. I will ask him too as a couple of his college friends have recalls there tooSherbert wrote:If you dont mind me asking scarytimes, did your DS have the AAB grades that GSA ask for? We’re waiting on Trinity results at the minute
I’m trying not to think about it too much...

Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018
He hasn't finished his A levels yet - so not sure. In theory predicted AAB but all this time away auditioning and change of focus makes me think that is unlikely! Oh well, all good experience...Sherbert wrote:If you dont mind me asking scarytimes, did your DS have the AAB grades that GSA ask for? I just told my DD this and she said she has heard the results wouldn’t be till next Thursday?Marissa wrote:Just seen the first twitter of some lucky girl getting a place at Trinity xxx Holding our breath x Goodluck all x
We are still waiting to hear about the GSA recall ( audition was over 2weeks a go) and she has the Mountview recall in April which is exciting as it’s her first choice.
Had some good news yesterday as DD has been informed that she is on the shortlist for the MT BA at RCS ( after her recall a few weeks ago) They haven’t offered any firm places yet as they haven’t finished all the recalls, but she is in the mix apparently!
Good luck to all your DCs still auditioning!
