Yeah. Glad it's not just me then. I was thinking she was annoyed with me. I was hoping that she could clarify what it meant and if they could defer could they do the dada audition next year.

Are you waiting to hear about a place there? I think they must be finishing very soon.

The waiting is awful isn’t it. My dd auditioned for 4 colleges, 1 before lockdown and 3 via videos. Still waiting on the 3 video ones. Deadline was end of April so it’s been over 2 weeks for 2 and 3 weeks for Bird college

Thanks for everyone's updates. Yes dd is on reserve at GSA, Artsed and EDA. She is already planning her next year whilst re-auditioning, and yes, I agree the waiting is horrible 8-[ , when there is a chance she might get a place it's hard not to think about it! Does the reserve list at Artsed include boys and girls or are they separate lists?

Does anyone know if any offers have gone out for GSA during lockdown? Have heard of a few that have been told they are on the reserve lists but no firm offers. Also does anyone have any idea how long reserve lists tend to be?

I have a feeling that places are waiting to see what is going to happen with unis and colleges going back in september before they are making firm offers now.

Yes they have because my dd's friend had an offer the same day dd went on the reserve list

I have no idea I’m afraid. We are waiting to hear back from Arts Ed. I don’t know how the waiting lists work? Surely at this stage it’s best to offer a simple yes or no? We’d be happy just to have an answer as it’s taking so long and feel like we are just hanging with no idea

Yes, definitely offers have gone out as my daughter is in a group chat. There are some ,5 or so, holding multiple offers, we cancelled all further auditions and declined places as soon as my DD got her place at GSA , this was in February so a long while ago now. Some that auditioned in December are still waiting to hear, one who auditioned on first audition date ( November) heard 3 weeks ago that they were successful, so there is still time. Boys and girls are separate on reserve.

Thanks that's very helpful. And the separate list is that Artsed you were referring to?
