Thanks Anatasia79, yes he's not bothered at all. But an offer would be nice even though he's off to Bird. I'll let you know when he hears from them. Hopefully by Easter as they'll likely be closed next week.

You just get an auto reply when you send but as it is on drop box we watched to see when they viewed themanastasia79 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 5:38 pm Re Performers audition date 6th March - has anyone had a reply from them since they’ve submitted their videos???
A dance friend of my DD submitted hers then and she’s not heard anything yet (they’re not on this forum and asked if I’d heard anything). She is so stressed waiting. We know exactly how she feels as we were too until my DD got her replies.

Okay yes no reply now to emails.....it is just frustrating! As we don't know if they've been read or not.Dancemum1973 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 8:26 pmIf it the same lady handling admissions as last year communication is terrible. Had to email about 5 times and hen ask to speak to someone higher up to get a phone call from her. If you call Laine office they just tell you it is her you need to speak to and to email. Very frustrating.dancelifemum wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 3:05 pmOh OK I was going to leave it until Monday and call them...we tried the other day and she was out of the office.Moonfaery wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 11:18 am
We’ve had trouble too (see my earlier post re: submitting videos).
My DD submitted her videos again earlier this week (sent as separate files this time) and requested they acknowledge receipt. They haven’t responded, so like last time she will just have to wait and see if she hears back.
She said there was something written down on the website saying they are unable to acknowledge receipt of all videos due to the amount they get but seeing as we had such an issue before I would have hoped they would be able to confirm all is okay with this submission.
She has tried calling as well but they just said to email instead!
All very frustrating really.
We then rang and it was her day off!!

Yes at the beginning they were responding in two weeks but as they've now had all online submissions it apparently is taking longer...they may be there over Easter as they're running zoom courses.icantdance wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:02 pmDS auditioned on the same date and hasn't heard anything yet but he's heard from other people that Performers are taking 4 weeks to respond so I guess they'll probably hear back end of this week.anastasia79 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 5:38 pm Re Performers audition date 6th March - has anyone had a reply from them since they’ve submitted their videos???

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
They've now sent out an email clarifying the £200 is not a deposit but to pay for the extra MT part of the degree and they've had many queries and sorry for the confusion!!!Dancemumalways wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 7:04 pmThank youGrace03 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 6:45 pm Regarding Wilkes:
If you choose not to pay the £200 deposit they don’t take away your degree offer (I don’t think they’re allowed to do that as the offer is through ucas).
The £200 is more in relation for the things they offer in addition to the degree.
They are very helpful so please do ring or email them to clarify this but it is definitely what we have been told.
Hope that helps

Thanks Dancelifemum. Hopefully they’ll have emails sent out this week before the Easter holidays.
Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Hey everyone
So DD auditioned for Lipa ( got recall) which she submitted and not heard since, Bird- heard nothing - Urdang - heard nothing. Wilkes - received email yesterday saying she’d been put on reserve list and won’t hear till end of April. Performers- received rejection email yesterday but email said the principle thinks she’s suited to Brighton and requested her permission to send videos over. Has anyone else heard anything like this? She did submit videos quite late on it was 16 days wait from Wilkes until we had a reply and about 18 days wait from performers

Glad to hear it has been clarified. From what I can gather (but I’m relying on my daughter for this information) - the added extras are chargeable but not compulsory.dancelifemum wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 10:30 pmThey've now sent out an email clarifying the £200 is not a deposit but to pay for the extra MT part of the degree and they've had many queries and sorry for the confusion!!!Dancemumalways wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 7:04 pmThank youGrace03 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 6:45 pm Regarding Wilkes:

But what I’m not sure if is how many hours per week are chargeable?

Hi - Several of my daughter’s friends are waiting to hear from Lipa. I know the waiting is difficult but hopefully she will hear soon.Coatsey wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:11 am Hey everyone

Bird don’t watch the videos until your deadline date has passed where as performers are watching them in order of them being submitted. My daughter got her outcome from bird just short of 3 weeks after her deadline.
I hope it all works out for her. Brighton might be a good option. Although it’s not quite as well known it seems to be getting a good reputation. There’s no harm in trying!

Hi we have heard a friend of DD also was suggested for Brighton Academy by Performers...she then got an offer from Brighton. I think the parent company BIMM owns both. Bird watch after your 'class' date and you can look on you tube to see when they watch if you're inclined under analytics.Grace03 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:32 amHi - Several of my daughter’s friends are waiting to hear from Lipa. My dd is in first year at Wilkes and they just have an annual fee of I think £500 (maybe it’s now only going to be £200, not sure), but there are no other fees on top of the student loan to pay x

Yes this was separate to that and had to be paid when sending the acceptance forms direct to them...it implied the £200 was a deposit. Maybe they will in fact now deduct it from the £500.MygirlsloveMT wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:32 pm My dd is in first year at Wilkes and they just have an annual fee of I think £500 (maybe it’s now only going to be £200, not sure), but there are no other fees on top of the student loan to pay x

3 emails and 2 phone calls later 'somebody' may get back to us tomorrow as they are very busy!
