That's lovely news about Laine offer! Congratulations to your DD. The Easter Bunny did well there!
Does that mean that the results of this week's auditions are out? Just wondering how long the information about DADA funding will be...

I wonder if that means another intake of Laine students will find out the next few days? Does anyone know if it’s the students who start the Facebook page for new students or if it’s the school? DD is anxiously awaiting uniform lists and accommodation, and of course finding out who she’ll be spending the next three years with

Well done on all the offers! My DD still has Urdang and Bird to send her tapes to. Bird said they won't look at them until after her deadline which is May I think? So quite late. She is still waiting on a response from Arts Ed from February... anyone else waiting this long? I am presuming its a no as I feel if they were really interested they would have let her know by now. Luckily she has a recall from GSA to keep her going until then. If anyone has had a recall from Art Ed after a long wait id love to hear! :D

Gosh that is late for Bird and a long wait to hear from ArtsEd. They have so many tapes to sift through so they're probably just busy working their way through them but I think if it's more than six weeks it might be worth emailing them incase something has gone awry. Hope you hear soon.

My DD also still waiting on Arts Ed, she didn't submit until the 28th of Feb... We phoned last week and were told not to worry, they're very behind. Fortunately she also has recalls at GSA and at Mountview.
As we're in Canada, I have very much appreciated all the information on this forum! I have been lurking for a little bit, so thought it might be nice to jump in and say hi.

Thank you. Yes Bird is late but she seems very laid back about it! I have told her to email Arts and I think she will if it goes on much longer. She's trying to be patient :D

Oh thanks, that's good to hear! DD has friends that have heard from them since she submitted so she knows things are moving. She has got friends that have had a rejection after a long wait so that's her thinking regarding herself. Fingers crossed you hear soon, if you do I'd love to know as I think my DD had the same date as yours.

Dd had a recall last week for Royal Welsh and an interview today for Associated Studios. The Royal Welsh recall involved a lot of improvisation plus an interview. She thinks she gave a good account of herself.

She thought the Associated Studios interview went well and she got good feedback from her audition tape (they loved her voice but as she is younger than most applicants they mooted the idea of her doing the course over two years rather than one (however that has funding implications). They will let her know within a week.

Still waiting to hear from RCS and RAM.

Islandofsodor - is that for the extra MA year? DD has her Royal Welsh recall next week for their new BA Hons course and wants to see it through before making her final decision (although I honestly can't see her turning down ArtsEd) Facilities at Royal Welsh look great!
