A jazz routine incl technical and commercial jazz with 4 sets of 8 improv. Also, 2 songs: 1 post 1960 and 1 pre 1960.dancelifemum wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 12:19 pmwhat did you have to send out of interest?

Nothing at all.
Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
DD had a phone call from Sarah Carroll today for a catch up just to confirm she had the dada forms (she’s already been offered one) and to see where she was in accepting the place, I assume they’ll go through their definitelys first so it shouldn’t be too long.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten offers! Can anyone explain what the process is at GSA? My daughter sent in her 2nd set of recall videos on the 12th. Have they started sending out offers? or do they do them all at once?

Thank you, I'm not sure what she is using to compress them but will let her know. I haven't heard from her today so don't know how she has got on!icantdance wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 7:39 amI use Format Factory. It's free to download and will convert audio or video to any other file types. I usually convert them to MP4 files.MTDreams wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:57 pm Hello, my DD is trying to upload her videos for Urdang but they are too big. Has anyone here any tips on how she can condense them or any advice! She's been trying to do it for 2 days and its not working. She's not at home so I can't physically help her. Thanks!

Thank you. Hopefully she has had more luck today!Grace03 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 8:17 amHi I’m fairly sure my daughter used an app to reduce her videos. It might have been called compress or something similar (as you can tell I’m not very good with these things and she’s left for college now so I can’t ask her the exact name). Hopefully Google will help you to find it. It worked fine for her.MTDreams wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:57 pm Hello, my DD is trying to upload her videos for Urdang but they are too big. Thank you, yes she has been using something to compress but still having trouble downloading.... hopefully when I speak to her later she will have succeeded!dancelifemum wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:42 amYes we had to download an app to compress them smaller.MTDreams wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:57 pm Hello, my DD is trying to upload her videos for Urdang but they are too big. Hi I have a question about the Bird reserve list, my daughter has been told that even if she has accepted another offer on Ucas she can turn it down and accept the Bird offer later on? We thought that once you accept with Ucas that is your final decision?
Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
They have definitely started sending out offers as my DD is there on the foundation and a few of her friends have got theirs. There is no set timing as some people hear really quickly and some it takes a couple of weeks. Have you heard from Arts Ed yet? My DD hasn't but she has heard they either are behind or missed a load of video submissions. She knows at least couple of friends that are still waiting to hear from February.canadianJo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 4:19 pm Congrats to everyone who has gotten offers! From what I know, if you’ve already accepted an offer on UCAS you have 14 days within accepting it to change it to another. This can only be done though by calling UCAS. If the offer has been accepted directly with the school and not UCAS she can definitely turn it down later and choose another school. I wonder if this is what your DD meant.Dancemumalways wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 4:54 pm Hi I have a question about the Bird reserve list, my daughter has been told that even if she has accepted another offer on Ucas she can turn it down and accept the Bird offer later on? Thanks for that, great to know! And still nothing from ArtsEd here either...My daughter emailed again last week just to check in, but no response. I feel like they'll have offered all their spaces before getting through all the videos.MTDreams wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 4:57 pmThey have definitely started sending out offers as my DD is there on the foundation and a few of her friends have got theirs.
