Hi, me and DD know someone who did the foundation MT there last year. She is now on an acting degree at a drama school in England. She loved her time in Barcelona and the course. From the few clips I did see put on social media I didn't think the dancing was that strong at foundation level, the girl we know is definitely more of an actor/singer

We had booked DD on a summer school there for summer 2020 which of course didn't go ahead. It's back on for this year and currently considering it depending on what other outcomes are.

DD was interested for foundation too but I had concerns about her being in a different country to us with lockdowns, so she scrapped her ideas to apply. We couldn't afford for her to do the degree there due to no funding, but as yours is an International student this is something I realise you'll need to take into consideration anyway.
Thanks lawn. It's actually considerably cheaper for us than the UK schools she's looking at since we don't get funding- so that's a huge plus!

My daughters friend received an offer through the post 2 weeks after her audition. Hope that helps.

My DD had a friend who completed the degree there. She had the tome of her life! We actually looked at it last year when we visited Barcelona. It was fantastic but the fees are prohibitive for us, sadly.

We had some happy post with an offer from her dream school, Laine! Just trying to work out if it is feasible financially, but so pleased :)

Happy news for my daughter at 7.00 am today - a degree offer from Conti! She’s at Performer’s Birmingham today and has her GSA recall next week but feeling excited and very very thankful that we are nearing the end ….

Hi,

Congratulations to everyone with offers so far, and fingers crossed for those still waiting to hear. We will be embarking on the audition road next year so I’m reading every post with enthusiasm. There doesn’t seem to be any mention of straight acting so I was wondering if there’s anyone auditioning for straight acting courses at the moment. Dd is currently trying to decide which path to take. She’s doing an mt btec course at the moment and always thought she will be taking the mt career path, but she’s been more interested in straight acting recently. She will try for nyt this year, but I’d be interested to hear from anyone that might be going through the audition process now. Thanks
