So dd got the news she was hoping for today, a BA Acting offer from Rose Bruford!!! She convinced herself she won’t get in as she hasn’t been contacted for an interview, so to say she’s excited is an understatement!

Ah that’s great news! The hold out was worth the wait. Didn’t get offer from RB here, now holding out for Guildhall decision next week. The last hope. Hope your daughter has a fab time in Sidcup, now go get that accommodation sorted!

Mine heard back from RCS today, she got reserve. She already accepted RB as she knows that’s where she wants to go.

Thanks everyone, we’re so delighted. It’s been a tough 3 year journey pivoting from
Musical theatre to acting but she’s ended up exactly where she wants to be. So now feels it’s all happened for a reason even if the rejections and vocal surgery were tough to deal with at the time.

So keep going everyone still going through it, I know how hard it is!!

Fantastic news! Gosh thst went down to the wire! Well done DD snd everyone else who got a place.

I reiterate too don’t give up, It’s disheartening not to initially get what they want, but perseverance pays off and let’s face it, that’s what this industry is about. DD had not so good offers last year, accepted one, deferred, gave it up and auditioned again this year, got much better offers. She has taken a chance again, accepting a GSA foundation MT and not taking the RB 3 yr offered, but if anything, they need to be fearless and committed to doing what they love and want.

Exciting times ahead and I’ll likely be back here next year!
