The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive.
Re: Over the Rainbow Live Events with BBC Learning
Thanks for posting this - will try for Leeds - still miles away though!
Re: Over the Rainbow Live Events with BBC Learning
Have applied for the Cardiff one for my ds. He'll love this. Am i right in thinking when you apply, your name goes into a draw? There'll be thousands-so fingers crossed. Are you going with your dd's Welsh Mum?
Re: Over the Rainbow Live Events with BBC Learning
We did the Oliver live events, it was so much fun and dd loved it. Will defiantly apply again

Re: Over the Rainbow Live Events with BBC Learning
We have applied for this also. We went to the Nancy one last year and it was a really good day
Lots of Nancies teaching the children, performing in their costumes from the show, signatures and photo's gallore and a good singalong for the audience, that had been divided up and taught different sections of the same song. It was a lovely day and well worth applying for

Re: Over the Rainbow Live Events with BBC Learning
do parents go or is it just children that attend? And if parents do go, do you need to apply for two tickets? thanks a lot

Hi cupcake13
I think it is a ticket per person attending - from what I understood anyway.
I have applied for 2 DD and myself.

Hi
thats what i thought but then i just checked out the rules and regulations and it said all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, so i thought that meant once the under 16 had a ticket, an adult could just accompany them without a ticket? I'm confused :S :L

You definitely need one ticket for each person attending. I went to the I'd Do Anything Singalong with my dd and originally applied for one ticket thinking only she needed the ticket. However, when I spoke to the people organising it they confirmed that I also needed a ticket - and, to my horror, had to join in the singalong (which was actually great fun).
All new to me!

Re: Over the Rainbow Live Events with BBC Learning
Just thought I'd mention that if you are lucky enough to get a ticket, you also need to arrive at least an hour beforehand. They always issue more tickets than there are places available. We arrived about an hour beforehand and were number 108 and 109 in the queue.
All new to me!

They have extended the application process until Wednesday - due to demand???? Surely they should have left it as it was if that was the case, oh and you can apply twice!
