It's difficult to say wether it's a scam

but if your child has real protential in modeling
than an agency will bend over
backward to get your child on their
books as they will make
money by your child working. They would
also have a photographer on the team.

I don't want to tell you it's a scam and miss out on an agency but I would
deffidently ask around
before choosing.

Hope
it
helps alittle x

I have no personal knowledge of them but a quick Google shows that they have been around for a couple of years now.

Found this on mumsnet from back in 2009{
Clary11 on mumsnet wrote:I signed my baby girl up to Carousel Kidz about 2 months ago after a friend told me about them. She’s just been cast for a Johnson & Johnson ad, so I’m v excited!!
The agency has only been going for about a year as my friend joined them at the start. They charge £30 to get the kids onto the agency books, but this is for life and includes a CD of all the pictures they take of your child.
They’ve recently asked my friend to go back and have her boy's pictures redone as he’s obviously changed and for this they charge nothing, except that if she wanted an updated CD of pictures she could pay a fiver but there was no pressure.
They seem really honest and do say that this is an industry where there are no guarantees and it all depends on what the casting agents are looking for. They even send a newsletter out every few months to the parents.
I’m very happy with them.
Hope this helps and hope you all get jobs for your kids soon! Good luck!

I also dont know the agency in question but if others have had experience it seems to me worth a serious look and considering what some of the modelling agencies charge that £30.00 isn't alot. It might however be worth asking what they charge if you take your own photos or get your own done since some of the photos on their web site could be more flattering.

I would also check the commission they take as modelling agencies for children can be on the excessive side!

A look at the web site suggests genuine campaigns but it might be worth asking who they work with on the casting front as that will tell you the depth of the opportunities.

Good luck with your decission.
