Any advice on what to expect at the Robinson's Panto auditions. My dd has an audition for Cinderella at Brighton. I know there's a limit of 400 and the age range is 6-16.
All info appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Robinson's Pantos
my daughter went to the one in glasgow last year there was about 400 there. they came down the line with a paper braclet to fill in with details etc. they all went in at the same time. no call backs or anything. kept all children to the end. about 3n half hours later. daughter said dance was easy basic rythm n stuff. she never got in. but in glasgow it was all little ones they picked. this could depend on the panto. they split them into little , medium, and big then audition them in those groups. just remember to tell your dd to have fun and big chessy grin. good luck to her. we are giving it a miss this year

Re: Robinson's Pantos
We did Bristol last year. Lots of queuing up to get in, hundreds of kids, ds was put in to a largish group and asked to do dance routine. They kept back a group at the end, of different sizes, but it depends on the panto as to what they need. Ds is going back for another go....he'll do anything for a free t shirt LOL. He enjoyed it, even though he is not a dancer! Its all good experience, but we are happy to go as we can cycle there. Don't think I'd bother if it was a long journey.

Thanks for the advice. I think we'll give it a go as we live walking distance from the theatre. It will be good experience and the free t-shirt sounds fun
!
