Getting Time Of School For Sport
DS has come 2nd in a comp at his golf club to go into a Proam comp the top 3 players get to play with a profissional golfer, trouble is it is on a school day, I no what to do when it comes to acting but have no idea what to do when its for sport. Do I just send in a letter to get permision or do I have to fill in some sort of form? Only got a week to sort it ou. I am sure one of u can help thanks

I would write/ phone the Head teacher. I'm sure it will be fine - well done to him

The licencing forms are for children to participate in PAID sport, perfomances or modelling, so if at this stage it is not professional ie N isn't getting paid then a letter to head should suffice.

Just phoned up the school have to get a holiday form to fill in then the attandince officer will have to say yes or no should not be a problem but if they say no then would have to be a taken with out permission, but dont think they will say no if they did would just take him out any way

Phoned up today to ask if he had been given permission they said yes but attendance officer was not that happy as he had quite a lot of time off last year for acting never had any problem before so now if he gets any thing will worry hope he gets permission
