Sole Agency?

Hello all
Please can I ask for some advice? Is it right that no Child Agent should insist on Sole Agency? If you are with two agents how does it work if both put you up for the same casting? DS has been approached by an agent that says they are NOT sole representation meaning he could have more that one agent but how would that work? Are the agents I've seen mentioned listed on this site Sole agency? Mark Jermin, CS, A&J, SY etc? Any advice would be appreciated.

they do tend to be sole agency, or you'd get both agents putting you up for same auditions ! Some agencies however do allow you to have an agent for modelling and one for acting, so they would not send you for same auditions. If you search this subject, there's lots of info. on the same question, which you'd find very helpful. Also if your child is in spotlight they are listed under one agent only.

though you could be with an agent and an extras agency without a clash, if your agenty will agree to that - and you need to check how agents feel if you find work yourself
