Please can someone advise. My son has done 3 "things" now (he is just 6), one TVC and two short films. I am thinking I could probably have a showreel made with it now. Is this enough to use in a show reel or should I wait till he's done more things? How long should a showreel be? thanks

I should think that for such a young performer, it's a good idea to get what he has done put on showreel as soon as you can before he changes too much! If you feel what he done has shows him in a good light and gives a reasonable "flavour" of what he's like - then I'd say go for it!
A showreel can be anything between 2 and 5 minutes. Definitely not longer than 5. Between 2 and 3 minutes is the most that a CD is likely to watch so put the best stuff first. Be ruthless about what you cut out (especially from short films). It doesn't matter if we don't understand the story, or who anyone is, just focus on getting clear close-ups of your son.
The trouble is, every time you want to upload a new showreel to Spotlight, they charge you AGAIN! Grrrr!
