Glyndebourne Youth Opera

Post by orangebear4 »

Does anyone have experience of Glyndebourne Youth Opera. Am thinking about it for my 13 year old dd. Do they only hold auditions once a year, and how intense is the commitment? Do people travel fair distances to join? Sounds perfect for dd but as she is a chorister as well I'm thinking the Sunday rehearsals may be difficult.

I'm pretty sure one of moley's dss has done it. She said something about it on here. Have you tried a search?
He could go and he could shine, not just stay here counting time,
Son, we've got the chance to let him live
