Ds son doing his Lamda grade 5 beee n to drama teacher to day videoed the 2 pieces for u to look at 1st one is what he did at the Stratford Festivel this week got 86% good one called Flour Baby http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mlvZdiDwa4 its about 2nd 1 is called Reserved about a waiter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vLkjuBMePE sorry about the end can still hear what he is saying just can not see ds

My ds, also 14, did a piece from the dramatised version of Private Peaceful for drama scholarship audition. Plenty of oppotunities to show humour, sadness and anger in fairly short passages. Good luck! 8)
