Another agency question!
Well, ds has been accepted by Bonnie & Betty which is great, they say we have 10 days to accept. I would like to accept but ds has auditions lined up for csmsnagement, Kelly management and D&B. Could I go with Bonnie and Betty and still send ds to audition for the other agencies or would it be better to wait. I have seen some people have an acting agent and are also with Bonnie and Betty, how does it go down with potential acting agencies if your dc us already with an agent? Thank you in advance, we have never had an agent before so I feel very confused!

Hi,
My dd was accepted 2 weeks ago with Bonnie&Betty too. They are not a sole agency so feel free to join other agencies. Bonnie is very nice and approchable so if you have any question about the industry, I'll suggest you talk to her also or send her an email with your queries...she always replies.
Hope it helps!

Thank you stagecoach
I was more wondering how the other agency's would feel if ds already had an agent.

Re: Another agency question!
Some agents will want to be sole agent, but if Bonnie and Betty are not worried about this then there's no harm in joining them as long as you check what the procedure is for leaving them should you later wish to sign up to a sole agency.
I'm a great believer in 1. not being afraid to ask questions and 2.trusting with your instincts (providing you've got the answers you need!). If an agent wants to take your ds on to the books, they will be happy to answer questions - they will also know that people approach many different agents, so I don't think you should worry about it at this stage. Choosing an agent is a two-way thing so you need to feel comfortable with them as well as them wanting to represent your ds.

I would talk to Bonnie and Betty as I know she isn't keen on her new faces being with another agency. We had that conversation with her quite recently.
I would recommend contacting her.

Re: Another agency question!
hi snookienoo, i mentioned that sometimes ds was submitted for casting with his younger sister by her agent when they were looking for sibling pairs. i asked if this was ok or if we needed to stop and was told that it was absolutely fine as they were not a sole agency and so there was no problem with his sisters agency submitting his details for castings. they seemed very relaxed about it... i am torn, as i would like ds to meet with csmanagement before going with them to make sure we are making the right decision. he is seeing them on wednesday which is within the 10 day time limit, so i think i will make a decision after we have seen them. he has never had an agent before so this is very exciting but also a little overwhelming, and i really want to make sure i don't rush into anything.

B & B wanted to see my ds until I told them that ds was with a acting agent and we where only interested in the modelling part of things, they then did not want to see ds. If I was u I would say yes to B & B then when u go to acting agent ds is already with them and is accepted by acting agent then tell them he is with a acting agent as well now and u are only interested in the modelling. If you tell them that he is going to audition for acting agent they my well say they are not interested in the end so do not say any thing to them. would it not be better for ds to go with dd agent then u would have both children with the same agent and then when there where auditions for siblings would be easer
