Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the Stagecoach Agency - good or bad?

My ds did some work for them at the beginning of year and still hasn't been paid for it. Is this normal considering we are now in August. Over six months have gone by and still no payment. I have queried it with them - all they say is that they don't sit on any monies and it will get paid to him when they get paid by production company.

Has anyone had any similiar experiences either with Stagecoach or any other agency?

My DD has done work through stagecoach and we never had any problems with them paying her. Could it be a case of the project that your DS worked on is still in production and no payments are made until its wrapped up ?

Both my dd's have done work for stage coach agency and have always been paid really promptly. Sounds like you've just been unlucky!

It's very expensive to join and you have to use their photographer! If you are in the south then it may be worth it, (though, there are much better agencies in the area who don't charge), but I don't think it is worth it if you are not - too much competition, they accept everyone who applies so have a lot of children on their books.
We live in the North and didn't have a good time with them - only put forward for 4 things in a year, one of which was for a 16 year old girl, dd was 6 at the time, another was an open casting, ie everyone who asked to be submitted got submitted!

Hi

DS is with stagecoach agency. He joined September last year and has done 3 things with them.

payments have been paid about 3 months afterwards. One wasn't paid thou.

He has been submited for a few other things but that was how far it went.

Have noticed on their audition report not a lot is going on.

We have just applied for another year.

Thanks everyone. Guess I'll just have to wait for payment to come through. Good to know other people have had positive experiences with the Stagecoach Agency. My ds has had one paid theatre job and several auditions for films etc so I think they are a reasonably reputable agency. Fingers crossed he gets more work soon - all he thinks about is acting, dancing and singing!!!

Thanks again for replying.
