Agents for 17 year old

Post by tikka »

Hi
Any advice on suitable agents for 17 years olds - are you still a child, or are you an adult?

thanks

Hi Tikka, The agency my dd is with ( Abacus) has a young perfomer section, which is for those over licence age. Although tbh they're not exactly beating our door down with auditions at the moment, the lady did tell me that they are very busy at the moment, so that doesn't necessarily mean that it would be the same for you. A& J management also have a section for teens and over 16s too. I have heard they are very good too, but I don't have any direct experience of them. Hope this helps !

Thanks Coco. Trying to decide what to do! DS has an agent, but no work!

He looks young for his age so it makes sense to stay put, but I guess at some point everyone has to move up to an adult agency, although tbh now he has started college he doesn't have much spare time so perhaps its time to take a break from auditions and just pick up cash doing work as an extra, then there is no long term commmitment getting in the way of college work.
