Guildhall Audition
My God daughter has just phoned me in a state of excitement as she has been offered an audition at Guildhall. She is a lovely girl, and without going into too many details has had way more than her fair share of family problems to contend with as she has grown up. Her Mum is brilliant bless her, and has had to bring her up singlehandledy but knows nothing (as in experience) about the career her daughter wants to pursue. Everything she has ever wanted has always been stacked against her so she has had to fight for everything to even get this far so I want to help her in every way I can to realise her dream (she is looking at more going into the Directing side than acting??). If anyone has any information at all that I could pass on to help her, insider tips, previous experiences, Dos and Donts etc I would really really appreciate it. Please feel free to post below or pm me if you wish.
Thanks NAPMs

Do you have the name of the course she is auditioning for? If you could find that out, I might be able to offer some pointers

Well done to her, great place to get accepted on

Good luck to your god daughter with her audition - sounds like she's very passionate at pursuing this career - everything crossed for her

Hello,
Is she going for Junior Guildhall, Drama? My DD auditioned last year and started in the Poetry class in September 2011, she is in Y9 at school. There is also the longer session which may be what your God-daughter is aiming for.

Hello Ladies
Thanks for all your help and kind comments. It is for entry Sept 2012 when she will be 18, PG - it is the straight acting degree. Any comments publicly or pm would be so much appreciated
