help with summer hol ideas for gaining experience please

Just realised DS will have 10 weeks off for the summer hols!

Does anyone have any good ideas for ways to fill it that involve drama/acting/or even useful things......volunteering, residential courses, anything really! We are in the SW, but he's happy to travel.

He can approach the local theatres here for voluntary work etc, and look out for acting work generally, but in the holiday time his regular classes all stop. He is under 18, so that limits most of options for the voluntary work that you see on the 'volunteer in the community' websites. Something like helpng at a drama type play scheme, or doing a course....anything really.

Does the drama group he attends do summer schools for youngster, or a local chain like Stagecoach who do, he could try contacting them.
