Website on accents

Post by JTBmum »

Hi, someone once mentioned a website for accents, where there are recordings of different people doing accents.

Can anyone recommend a good resource for accents for all parts of UK the UK, Wales, Ireland and Scotland?

Thanks :D

I find this one really useful:

The UK ones are split into different areas and you can hear people reading one of two passages (as well as some general chat) which I think is helpful for pinpointing specific things about a particular accent or dialect.

The BBC also has a good selection
