chaperone positions

Post by sweepygirl »

I am a licensed and experienced chaperone based in Kent but have only ever done this on a voluntary basis.
I wondered if anybody knows where I could look or who I could apply to for paid work in this?
Any advice gratefully accepted, many thanks

Have you tried contacting all the theatres within reach? Most will keep a list of registered chaperones they can call upon.

Thanks PG, it seems anything local only want volunteers so perhaps I need to go a little further afield!

You should be able to go on the list at the County you live in and also it might be possible to approach other counties direct to see if they have a list you can go on. Also you could possibly try the agencies to see if they hae a list you can go on.

I believe Jo Hawes sorts the chaperones for the various shows in Town. It's well worth you contacting her to ask.
