Hi All You Lovely NAPMs,
I need to find a piece of (probably) classical music fro my DS to dance to. He's going to be doing Puck from MSND. Have listened to the Mendelssohn overture and it's not really what I'm after. Something impish and mischievous is what we need. Only has to be about 2 mins long and I can cut bits out of pieces that are too long etc.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks all x
Any classical music buffs out there?

A light-hearted piece that comes to my mind is Haydn's 'The Joke'. I don't know if it will be suitable, but I have posted a link and if you look through YouTube there are versions at different speeds. Hope this helps.

Another possibility might be the music for the gold fairy/music fairy from Sleeping Beauty -Tchaikovsky. If you look on you tube there are different versions, but it is about the right length.

DD did MSND as a play last year. For dance. Saint Saens Carnival of the Animals - Aquarium, and some others.... but we think Danse Macabre is very Puck!
