Writing a CV

Post by Livy2 »

Hi,

I have scrolled through and tried to find previous posts about the format for a CV but can't find advice on how to write a CV. If I put CV in the search field above, it won't bring anything up as there's too many with CV but if I write Curriculum Vitae, there's only one post.

Should I write my daughter's CV like I would if I was doing a normal job application or do acting CV's have different rules - DD has a mix of professional and am dram performances and has drama training at Junior Guildhall, RADA and also represents her local authority for Dance and also has an agent and is on spotlight but the advert says 'put the CV in the email' so I don't think I can use a link otherwise I would do that.

Any advice very gratefully received 8-[

Thanks

If it's for paid work, then I would recommend getting your agent to apply. If not then there's some information here: http://www.notapushymum.com/gpage2.html

and an example here: http://www.notapushymum.com/subpage4.html

Hi PG,

Thanks very much for the information, I didn't think to look on the pages outside of the Board Index.

Will do this anyway and also ask her agent. ;)
