kccp - age limits

Hello, I wondered if any of the KCCP users on here could answer a question about the site? I have asked KCCP, but no answer. Where an age range is given for a job, if DS is one year outside it would he be automatically prevented from applying? Or do they allow the person casting to take a view? I don't want to put in time creating a full profile specifically to go for a particular role only to find he can't apply. Perhaps the non-reply speaks for itself!

Most ages in casting are playing age not actual age so when filling in your profile thats what you should have in mind. I am no longer a memeber but I believe that you can edit the age when applying for particular jobs although I am sure some of our memebers will correct me if I am wrong.

For kccp you put a specific age in your profile. If that fits the range the CD wants, you can apply. If it is outside, the system won't allow you to apply. You can change the age on your profile, but it takes 24 hours to apply. Hope that helps

Thank you both for the replies - I get it! I will probably find the role is no longer vacant by the time I get to it, but at least we know now. I think to be fair it is a good fit with his playing age so would not feel awkward applying.
