Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) - Reserve Lists

Hi, Does anyone have any experience of how the BSA Reserve List works? My DD's boyfriend has got on the Reserve List there and we were wondering what would be the chances of him being offered a place. Thanks to anyone who can offer any advice.

I've no experience of BSA but DD was on the reserve list for LIPA and it moved very quickly once the date for confirming places passed. She received a definite offer in the middle of her A level exams ... early June if I remember correctly. I suppose a lot of people get offers from more than one school and they can't accept them all DD did ask and was told her place on the reserve list so might be worth finding out where he is as obviously the nearer the top you are the more likely you are to get bumped up to a firm offer. Because of where she was on the list, DD had been told by the admissions tutor to apply for a student loan etc even though she hadn't yet received a firm offer to make sure all the financial aspects were in place for when she arrived. Hi. My DS was offered reserve list at BSA in February and received an unconditional offer only yesterday. So yes there is every chance that he could be offered a place!

Yes congratulations to your DS Alisonrose that is exciting. I very much hope my DD's boyfriend will be joining your DS at BSA We will have to see, but the fact that your DS has now been offered a place already from the reserve list is very encouraging.
