Re: Help needed to find 1930s musical hall song!
Thanks Panda, its all been a bit fraught here! He's so worried about singing we had tears last night, and I'm in two minds whether to let him go tomorrow. The comedy side is perfect for him, but if the prospect of singing is upsetting him that much its really not worth it. He's having a singing less...

Re: Help needed to find 1930s musical hall song!
Thanks Doris, you're all so helpful on here, a real Godsend!! He also has to do a stand up comedy routine which is no problem at all, hopefully he'll do that first to give him more confidence before he has to sing!

Re: Help needed to find 1930s musical hall song!
Thanks so much, that could definately be a possiblity! If all else fails, he could sing Bring me Sunshine, but I've just got the feeling everyone is going to be doing that one lol!

Help needed to find 1930s musical hall song!
Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help? My DS has an audition on Thursday and has been asked to prepare a two minute song, we thought it might be a good idea to prepare a song from the time Eric and Ernie met which was 1939. Has anyone got any ideas, I'm tearing my hair out as it has to be easy to le...

Re: Help reading a script. What is expected
Hi Panda, we've heard nothing so I'm assuming it was a no. Ds has stopped asking if I've heard anything and is looking forward to the next thing that comes up...bless him.

Hi, I'm just in the process of filling out Spotlight forms for my ds and they are only asking for £88, seems a big difference between £88 and £120, am I missing something or filling in the wrong forms ??

Re: Help reading a script. What is expected
We're from Blackpool, so not that local to Leeds. How ironic, we finally get to go to a Northern casting and my DS probably has the wrong type of Northern acent lol!

Re: Help reading a script. What is expected
Hi Panda, it was a shame Ellis only had the three lines, I can't figure out how they could judge a performance based on that, maybe they have a picture in their minds of the child they are looking for. My DS said they laughed when he asked the question with 'that word' in it, which is something posi...

Re: Help reading a script. What is expected
Hi, DH saw you too, its such a small world is n't it! Hopefully we won't have to wait long for a decision, it would be wonderful if both yours were cast! We are with Kelly Management in London and they have been fab! I think the only problem we may have is my DS has a Northern accent which is n't no...

Re: Help reading a script. What is expected
Hi, my DS is 10 years old, he was reading for the part of Ellis. My husband was with him and they were sitting in the furthest room on the corner of the red sofa. My DS was wearing a checked shirt and hubby has longish dark hair and a suntan lol! DS went in for his audition at around 3.20pm. Were yo...
