My DD is represented by Abacus. In our experience they don't open their books very often, but they do keep your details on file and - if they want to meet you - they'll get in touch when they do.

Good luck - let us know how you get on

Hello, can I ask where you found this out from? I've been checking their website regularly and they've not posted a date or month since the end of last year! Do you have a DD/DS with them? :)

Exactly what I was going to say!

Acting-If you have a good relationship with your current agent then I wouldn't move, seem to be getting all the work possible already x

Yes if you already have a good agent and getting work would not change. Ds was with a good agent but I knew they did not have good repetition with teens older son moved at 13 and did not get any thing only extra work, so when youngest ds got to 12 moved him to Abacus as felt they would be better got some nice things but when ds grew and between 14 and 15 went for auditions did not get any thing until he became 16 last August then has had more casting in 8 months than he did in the last 2 years had a small part in a sitcom voice over short film 3 adverts waiting to hear if he has another got fitting for Tuesday but company will not say if he has it or not. He is getting on average 1 to 2 castings a week that is because he still looks young and can go for 14-15 year olds. It's hard when they get older but if they get to 16 and look young have a good chance of getting work. What you have to make sure that the photos are up to date, when ds first went to see Abacus first thing they said oh good he looks like his photo last year he went again they said good he looks like his photo, it's no good having a old photo which make dc look very young and not put there right hight because it's just a waste of time it's always good to be honest.
